New Ad Highlights Kleefisch as Typical “Say-Anything Politician”

As Lt. Gov., Mahlon Mitchell will bring honesty and jobs back to Wisconsin

Madison—Andy LaVigne, Campaign Manager for Mahlon Mitchell for Lt. Gov., today highlighted Rebecca Kleefisch’s television ad as another dishonest attempt to hide Gov. Scott Walker’s failed jobs record.

“Rebecca Kleefisch’s ad proves she’s a say-anything politician who needs to be defeated on June 5,” said Mitchell Campaign Manager Andy LaVigne. “Kleefisch is stealing the credit on job creation and trying to hide the fact that she and Scott Walker have failed Wisconsin. On their watch, Wisconsin has the worst jobs record in the United States. Outside groups have already called Rebecca Kleefisch out on her typical Tea Party tactics.”

Just last month, PolitiFact Wisconsin gave Kleefisch a “mostly false” for her claim of bringing jobs to Wisconsin. In an April 25 article, PolitiFact revealed “the wheels were turning” for this business move and “the company had already inquired about office space in Beloit” months before Kleefisch ever picked up the phone to contact the business in question.
